Shipping Container homes are Fire Resistant:
Fire risk is minimized by the very nature of the construction of the shipping container.
However, as with all structures inhabited by humans, due mainly to the materials used in the furniture and other accommodations, there is always some risk of fire.
For the safety of our customers we recommend that you install a smoke detector inside your container home and in the event of an emergency, have more than one exit from the home.
Also, examine the type of insulation that you are using in the construction of your container home to assure that it is frame retardant.
