The construction of apartment complexes using shipping containers has been going on for a very long time. In fact, it was the military that created the container home, office, mobility concept. This makes complete sense when you think of the military’s role in the world and how they must be ready to deploy quickly. I have been around the world and have seen some spectactular complexes built using shipping containers. New York City, Shanghai China, Amsterdam, Germany, Switzerland, Peru, Costa Rica, Mexico.
